Indiana University is a multi-campus public university. IU has a combined student body of more than 100,000 students, including approximately 43,000 students enrolled at the Indiana University Bloomington campus and approximately 31,000 students enrolled at the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus. IU houses Indiana’s only M.D. granting Medical School (2nd largest in the nation) and is a major research center for the life sciences in Indiana.
