Off the Shelf: Looking at Innovation from Private Industry

Innovation is the lifeblood of the bioscience industry.  In Indiana, private companies are significant drivers and developers of new technologies. However, many privately developed technologies face the usual commercialization hurdles – no clear understanding of the market, lack of resources to fully develop the product, or discoveries that do not align with the parent company’s product offerings.  So the big question is, how do we get those technologies off the shelf? Please join us for a conversation looking at some of the ways this challenge is being explored and where we might start cleaning out the closet!
