IHIF Launches New Strategic Plan

January 2, 2019 – INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Indiana Health Industry Forum (IHIF) today released Roadmap 2020 – an industry driven strategic plan intended to engage individuals and companies across Indiana’s bioscience, med-tech, and digital health sectors.

Based on recommendations developed from submissions made during a wide-ranging data gathering process, Roadmap 2020 aligns that feedback and directs it into working groups (Forums) which will come together around specific topic areas.

“With Roadmap, we build upon a framework that has been directing IHIF’s efforts for the past several years and helped to define our role in the state’s bioscience ecosystem”, said Eric Marr, Chairman of the IHIF Board of Directors. “Roadmap 2020 and Forums are an opportunity to expand our engagement with a wider variety of individuals and stimulate conversations that get to the heart of current industry concerns and challenges”.

Kristin Jones, IHIF President and CEO added, “our hope is that the move to Forums will allow us to engage more dynamically with our members and provide greater value to them, across their organizations. Forums will use the Plan recommendations as a starting point and can carry that effort forward in any number of ways. It will be exciting to see where it leads”.
