Andrew Cothrel brings a unique set of skills to medtech and lifesciences businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500s. After a successful corporate career starting on the “product” side of the business and ending with a VP/general management role, in 2007 he founded Blue Marble Medical to address the growing demand for a single source providing a wide range of expertise in lifesciences. Andrew provides guidance across many areas of medtech/lifesciences business, from research and development to operations optmization to capital formation and go-to-market strategy. Past projects span health IT, in-vitro diagnostics, orthopedics, critical care, cardiovascular devices, and life science research tools, as well as cleantech . With each client project, Andrew plays an active role, leveraging his extensive network and working closely with the company to successfully reach its goals.
